Raiders Fall 3-1 to South Puget Sound

The Pierce College men’s soccer team came up short against South Puget Sound on Wednesday, falling 3-1 on the road.

The Clippers built an early lead with three goals in the first half, but the Raiders regrouped after the break and tightened up defensively. Gavin Nail put Pierce on the board in the 46th minute, finishing a setup from Edgar Soltero for his first goal of the season.

In net, Jake Jenner turned in a strong second half, recording two saves and holding the Clippers scoreless after the break.
