The Pierce College Raiders women’s soccer team pulled off a strong 2-1 win over the Lower Columbia Red Devils in a key West Region matchup.
Elena Iniguez opened the scoring early for the Raiders, finding the back of the net in the 10th minute on an assist from Olivia Jahn. Lower Columbia answered before halftime to even the score, but Pierce responded quickly after the break. Grace Atkinson gave the Raiders the lead in the 55th minute with an unassisted goal that proved to be the game-winner.
Iniguez led the offensive effort with four shots on goal, while Atkinson added one on frame. Goalkeeper Rylee Kline recorded three saves, anchoring the defense and helping Pierce secure a big conference win.
