Kai Halstead put together a strong all-around week at the plate in Pierce’s four-game series against Clark, helping lead the Raiders to a split on the road before sweeping the Penguins at home. The sophomore catcher finished the week batting .313 with five hits, one home run, three RBI, and a .500 slugging percentage across 16 at-bats.

Halstead came through in Pierce’s biggest offensive performance of the week in the Raiders’ 11-4 victory on May 9, going 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. His six total bases led the offense in the win and helped Pierce secure momentum in the series finale sweep.

In addition to his offensive production, Halstead reached base seven times over four games with a .389 on-base percentage while also adding a stolen base. He struck out just once in 18 plate appearances and consistently produced quality at-bats throughout the series.
