Bio
Madisen Hohimer is a dedicated and compassionate certified athletic trainer licensed in Washington, whose passion for sports and healthcare was sparked early in life. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and raised in Kent, Washington, Madisen grew up in an athletic family where outdoor games and sports like soccer and softball were a daily part of life—often coached by her father. Though injuries during high school kept her from competing at the collegiate level, her love for athletics never waned. It was during her senior year, while contemplating career paths between business and medicine, that she discovered athletic training—a perfect blend of her three passions: sports, medicine, and helping others.
Madisen earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Grand Canyon University in 2022. She is not only a licensed athletic trainer but also certified to perform and teach Basic Life Support, including First Aid, CPR, and AED. Currently working with Pierce College, she values the opportunity to support athletes during a critical stage in their personal and professional development.
Her philosophy centers on building strong relationships with her athletes and empowering them to take charge of their own recovery. She believes that “movement is medicine,” emphasizing proper rehabilitation to restore function and address underlying causes of injury. Madisen’s commitment to guiding athletes extends beyond physical healing—she strives to teach lifelong skills for health and resilience.
Outside of work, Madisen enjoys an active lifestyle alongside her husband, with activities like Pilates, golf, and pickleball. They cherish time with their families and frequent relaxing weekends at her family’s cabin in Lake Chelan. Thanks to her husband’s culinary talents, their home is also filled with delicious, diverse meals, making for a well-rounded and fulfilling life.
