Raider Student-Athletes Excel Academically During 2025 Fall Quarter
Pierce College Athletics is proud to recognize and congratulate its student-athletes on an outstanding 2025 Fall Quarterin the classroom. With a renewed emphasis on academic success, Raider Athletics posted an overall department GPA of 3.07, marking the third-highest combined GPA across all sports since 2010.
This achievement reflects the dedication, discipline, and commitment to learning demonstrated by Pierce student-athletes while balancing the demands of competition and academics. Their hard work continues to raise the standard for excellence both on and off the field.
Several programs posted impressive team GPAs during the quarter, including men’s baseball, which led the way with a 3.43 GPA, followed by men’s basketball at 3.27, and women’s softball with a 3.09 GPA.
Pierce College Athletics also extends its appreciation to the coaching staffs across all programs for their continued support of student-athlete education. Their leadership and emphasis on academic accountability play a vital role in creating an environment where student-athletes can thrive.
