The Pierce College Raiders fell to the Everett Trojans in both games of their doubleheader, dropping game one 9-0 and game two 7-2.
In the opener, the Raiders' offense was limited to just two hits, with Taylor Smith and Sophie Zacher each recording one. Smith also reached base with a walk and stole a base. Samantha Tungsvik pitched the complete game, striking out four batters in her outing.
Pierce found more offensive success in game two, tallying eight hits. Samantha Tungsvik and Amelia Lopez each had a hit and a run, with Lopez also drawing a walk. Taylor Smith added a hit and a walk, while Kayla Jarreau contributed an RBI single and a walk. Emma Loera and Karen Cervantes-Macias each added a hit to the Raiders' total.
