Raiders Battle No. 4 Tacoma in Narrow Loss

The Pierce College Raiders women’s soccer team put up a strong fight against the No. 4–ranked Tacoma Titans on Friday, ultimately falling 2-1 in a tightly contested match.

The Raiders struck first in the 7th minute when Elena Iniguez found the back of the net with an unassisted goal. Grace Atkinson kept the pressure on the Titans’ defense with two shots on frame, but Pierce was unable to add to their lead.
