Raiders Conclude East Region Crossover with Battles Against Clackamas and Lane

The Pierce College Raiders volleyball team wrapped up play at the East Region Crossover on Saturday, facing Clackamas and Lane in their final two matches of the tournament.

In their first match of the day, the Raiders fell 3-0 to Clackamas (25-15, 25-10, 25-20). Fiona Mallory led the way with 6 kills, 3 service aces, and 7 digs, while Audrey Fries added 5 kills, 2 service aces, and a dig.

Pierce closed out the crossover against Lane, where the Titans secured a 3-0 victory (25-11, 25-22, 25-17). Mallory again led the Raiders offensively with 9 kills and an ace. Rayley Peterson and Audrey Fries each contributed 3 kills in the match.

The Raiders leave the East Region Crossover with valuable experience and their second win of the season, earned in Friday’s five-set thriller over Wenatchee Valley.
