Raiders Fall to Rangers in Home Opener

The Pierce College Raiders hosted their first home match of the season on Thursday night, falling to the Olympic College Rangers in four sets (25-14, 13-25, 25-21, 25-20).

Jaelynn Gross paced the Raiders with a strong all-around performance, recording 13 kills, one assist, one service ace, five digs, a solo block, and a block assist. Fiona Mallory added 10 kills to go along with two service aces and 11 digs, while Audrey Fried contributed four kills in the match.

Pierce will return to action on Tuesday, September 2, when they host Clark and Edmonds for a round-robin scramble.
