Raiders Open North Region Invite Against Defending Champions

The Pierce College Raiders kicked off their North Region Invite with a tough matchup against the reigning 2024 NWAC Champions, the Skagit Valley Cardinals, falling in three sets (13–25, 19–25, 14–25).

Despite the loss, the Raiders showed resilience and highlighted key performers. Fiona Mallory recorded 5 kills and 5 digs, while Jaelynn Gross led the team with 6 kills and added 8 digs. Taylor Kilen anchored the defense with 10 digs, along with a service ace and an assist. Setter Rayley Peterson dished out 14 assists and contributed 6 digs in the effort.

The match provided valuable experience for the young team as they prepared for their next challenge later in the day.
