Grace Atkinson continued her strong start with her third goal of the season, scoring in the 10th minute on a feed from Jaelynn Fuentes, but the Raiders dropped a 3-1 decision to Skagit Valley. Atkinson registered four shots on goal to pace the Raiders’ attack. Fuentes and Hali’a Maguadog each added one shot on target. Rylee Kline finished with six saves in goal.
The Raiders will aim to build on their preseason experiences when they open West Region conference play on Tuesday, September 10, against Lower Columbia in Longview, WA. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
